Architecture Mule
Mit dieser Baustufe werden auch komplett von Fahrzeugprojekten entkoppelte Subsystem- bzw. Komponentenentwicklungen durchgeführt, bevor diese im Integration Vehicle erstmalig eingesetzt werden. Zweck ist die Korrelierung / Bestätigung des Virtual Initial Vehicle. Als Basis dient ein derzeitiges Produktionsfahrzeug, das zur Erprobung neuer oder risikoreicher Plattformkomponenten und / oder Subsystemen (zum Beispiel eines neuen Unterbodenkonzepts) eingesetzt wird. Das Fahrzeug repräsentiert das Architektur Konzept.
Architecture Mule
This build step serves to develop subsystems or components respectively, that have been completely decoupled from vehicle projects, before they are used for the first time in the Integration Vehicle. The purpose is to correlate / confirm the Virtual Initial Vehicle. The basis is formed by a current production vehicle that is used for trying out new or risky platform components and / or subsystems (for example a new underbody concept).
