PPAP (Serienteilfreigabe) bzw. PPF (Produktionsprozess- und ProduktFreigabe) ist ein Verfahren, bei dem Serienteile vor dem Serienanlauf bemustert werden. Diese Vorgehensweise stammt aus der Automobilindustrie, dabei geht es vor allem um die Qualität der gelieferten Teile - das bedeutet, dass die Teile aus den Serienwerkzeugen bzw. Serienprozessen den Zeichnungen entsprechen müssen. Es besteht eine Einteilung nach verschiedenen Level (Vorlagestufen) der Bemusterung. Dabei hat PPAP insgesamt 5 Submission Level (der PPF hat 4 Vorlagestufen).PPAP Level 3:(Punkte 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18)Teilevorlagebestätigung (Part Submission Warrant = PSW) mit Musterteilen und umfassende unterstützende Daten werden dem Kunden vorgelegt. Das ist die umfangreichste Bemusterung, die dem Kunden zugesandt werden muss. Production Part Approval Process Level 3

PPAP (Production Part Approval) or PPF (Production Process and Product Release) is a process in which serial parts are sampled before the start of series production. This procedure originates from the automotive industry, where the main focus is on the quality of the delivered parts - this means that the parts from the series tools or series processes must correspond to the drawings. There is a classification according to different levels (presentation levels) of sampling. PPAP has a total of 5 submission levels (PPF has 4 submission levels).PPAP level 3:(points 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18)Part Submission Warrant (PSW) with sample parts and comprehensive supporting data is submitted to the customer. This is the most comprehensive sample to be sent to the customer.
