Weltorganisation für Meteorologie
ist die Welt-Wetter-Organisation als Sonderorganisation der Vereinten Nationen mit Hauptsitz Genf in der Schweiz. Sie informiert ihre 189 Mitglieder (in Form von Staaten und Territorien) über Belange der Meteorologie: z.B. den Zustand und das Verhalten der Erdatmosphäre, ihre Interaktionen mit den Ozeanen, das durch sie entstehende Klima und die resultierende Verteilung der Wasserressourcen.

is the World Weather Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. It informs its 189 members (in the form of states and territories) about meteorological issues: e.g. the state and behavior of the Earth's atmosphere, its interactions with the oceans, the resulting climate and the resulting distribution of water resources.
