Durchschlag (E-Mail-Kommunikation)
übersetzt "Kohlepapier-Durchschlag" meint in der E-Mail-Kommunikation, dass hier Platz für einen oder mehrere weitere Empfänger von Kopien der Mail ist.Die Empfänger in diesem CC-Feld sind nicht direkt angesprochen, sondern werden über den Inhalt dieser E-Mail lediglich „zur Kenntnisnahme“ mitinformiert. Die Einträge im CC-Feld werden (im Gegensatz zum BCC-Feld) bei allen Empfängern angezeigt und sind somit bekannt. Der Begriff kommt vom früher benutzten Durchschlag beim Schreiben mit einem harten Stift oder der Schreibmaschine, wobei mehrere Papierseiten mit jeweils einem Kohlepapier (englisch Carbon ‚Kohle‘) dazwischen übereinandergelegt wurden.

The entries in the CC field are displayed for all recipients (in contrast to the BCC field) and are therefore known. The term comes from the earlier used carbon copy when writing with a hard pencil or typewriter, where several pages of paper were placed on top of each other with a carbon paper in between.
