Europäisches Komitee für elektrotechnische Normung
Europäisches Komitee für elektrotechnische Normung (englisch: European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization); ist eine der drei großen Normungsorganisationen in Europa und zuständig für die europäische Normung im Bereich Elektrotechnik. Zusammen mit ETSI (Normung im Bereich Telekommunikation) und CEN (Normung in allen anderen technischen Bereichen) bildet CENELEC das europäische System für technische Normen.

European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization; is one of the three major standardization organizations in Europe and responsible for European standardization in the field of electrical engineering. Together with ETSI (standardization in the field of telecommunications) and CEN (standardization in all other technical fields), CENELEC forms the European system for technical standards.
