FMEDA (Failure Modes, Effects and Diagnostic Coverage Analysis) is used to determine the proportion of non-hazardous failures (SFF = Safe Failure Fraction) and the diagnostic coverage (DC = Diagnostic Coverage) of a system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 26262 (IEC 61508).
