Beschränkung gefährlicher Stoffe (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
ist eine europäische Richtlinie zur Beschränkung der Verwendung bestimmter gefährlicher Stoffe in elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten und regelt die Verwendung von Gefahrstoffen in Geräten und Bauteilen.Zu den Herstellerplichten im Rahmen der RoHS-Richtlinie gehören die technische Dokumentation entsprechend der harmonisierten Norm EN 50581, die interne Fertigungskontrolle, die Konformitätserklärung und CE-Kennzeichnung. Alle Wirtschaftsakteure haben auch bei bereits in Verkehr gebrachten Produkten entsprechende Kontrollpflichten und müssen bei Verdacht auf Nicht-Konformität bestimmte Maßnahmen ergreifen.
Restriction of Hazardous Substances
