UTC

Koordinierte Weltzeit

(englisch) Coordinated Universal Time, übersetzt "Koordinierte Weltzeit".

Coordinated Universal Time

Coordinated Universal Time, translated "Coordinated Universal Time". In Germany the following relations apply: CET (Central European Time) = UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) + 1h, CEST (Central European Summer Time) = UTC + 2h.The times in the different time zones of the earth are derived from the coordinated universal time, starting from the zero meridian, which runs through the London district of Greenwich. UTC itself is used as the zone time for Western European Time (WEZ/WET) - which is still called Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in Great Britain, Ireland and West Africa.
